Another interesting assignment : I had to watch the movie "King's Speech" and then come up with a poster that best explains the movie. The condition that the poster shouldn't contain any downloaded images was a challenge. i tried capturing the emotion of the duke(King) in the movie and with the Adobe Illustrator software and a lil touch of PSP, I jus came up with this poster. Believe me, this wasn't at first shot, it took a lot of drafts and corrections wasn't really easy, but got much better with each draft and feedback.
The Final Poster:
CHEERS!

I learnt lot of things, and the fact that fascinated me most was that these things were done out of simple stuffs that are easily available in the market and yet look so complicated and difficult when its all done!

Place of Worship- Infant Jesus Shrine, Viveknagar
As a part of my ETA (End Term Assignment), I had to visit any place of worship and click atleast 20 snaps that could best describe the place to anyone who would like to visit it. I chose Infant Jesus Shrine, which is and has always been close to my heart.
I had been to this place late evening yesterday and was delighted to see the golden sun rays falling on the artefacts of the church, making it appear very graceful. Images were clicked with default camera settings (auto) without any effects, as the outdoor lighting was giving it the perfect effect possible. These photographs are not edited further with any software.
My best clicks:

The Elegant Door Architecture:
The Church Bells:
Bell Tower in Twilight:
The Indoors:

History of the Shrine (Source:www.infantjesusshrine.com)
The popular Infant Jesus Shrine is located near the busy streets of Viveknagar, Bangalore. The history of this Shrine dates back to the mid sixties, when Fr. Paul Kinatukara, the Priest of the neighbouring Parish felt the need for a Church for areas around Somanahalli, also known as Viveknagar. The foundation stone was laid in the year 1969 by Most Rev. Dr. S. Lourduswamy, the then Archbishop of Bangalore. On June 9th, 2005, the new church was inaugurated by Most Rev. Dr. Bernard Moras, Archbishop of Bangalore, Dedicated by His Excellency, Most Rev. Dr. Pedro Lopez Quintana, Apostolic Nuncio in India; Blessing of the Tabernacle, by Most Rev. Dr. Ignatius Pinto, Archbishop Emeritus, Archdiocese of Bangalore.
Designed by architects, Thomas Associates, it has a a fan shaped hall, to accommodate about 2500 people with 9 faces and openings running all round the church. In addition, there is a mezzanine area and basement parking. The podium is raised above road level with steps and ramp on either side. The interior of the church is so designed that wherever people are seated they will feel that the altar is facing them. The main mural which is 6x9 metres replicates the nativity scene in the nativity church of Jerusalem.
The devotion to Infant Jesus has become widespread and the Infant Jesus Shrine is now known as the place of pilgrimage, miracles and Divine solace not only in this state, but across the country. Thousand of devotees from all faiths throng the shrine on Thursday, to honour Infant Jesus.
Cheers!
